E3 2014 is just 2 months away, and still there is very limited amount of information and known details as to what can be expected of the next-gen gaming consoles.

As far as Sony's PS4 is concerned, the latest teasers come from NeoGAF user and known Sony developer DemonNite who mentioned that a number of genres will be revealed for the games for the PS4.

"There should be a decent mix of other genres," said DemonNite, as quoted by DualShockers. This is in response to the expectations that more games, apart from shooters like "Call of Duty 2014," "Battlefield 2014," "Destiny" and "Planetside 2." Knowing Sony's love for indie games, there will surely be a handful tossed in, whether they will be newly announced games or developments from the already announced, but not yet dated, titles.

DualShockers also quoted the source on the possibility of seeing titles like "Final Fantasy XV" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" onstage for the PS4. But what seems to be very likely is the fact that E3 2014 will be all about the games and the enjoyment of the gamers more than the decision of another clear-cut winner.

Rep System Also Coming for the PS4?

The PS4 is still an evolving project despite the many updates, games and hardware that have already been out in the market since its launch late last year, and in the latest round of possible additions that Sony is testing among its fans, there are a handful of appealing new features that may come, if the feedback calls for it.

VGX Network has spotted a survey that is being disseminated regarding the PS4, and one of the top features that have been hinted at is the inclusion of a reputation system. This rep system is very much like the one introduced by the Xbox One's griefer-system, which will allow players to be classified as good or bad and build a rep depending on a user-rating system.

Other features that are being proposed for the PS4 include an advanced matchmaking system where players will be paired with players who are at the same level or via player preference, an invisible status that lets players check others who are online without being online themselves, and a party chat that lets them have more than eight people in it.

As far as notifications and settings are concerned, the survey also asks if gamers want on-screen notifications for when their friends go online as well as the ability to change their PlayStation username.

Sony also seems to be proposing the synchronisation of the different platforms. There is also a proposed synchronisation of messages across platforms, where they can view all of their messages from other platforms, when using another PlayStation device. In addition, the survey also asks for feedback regarding a possible chat system that covers all PlayStation platforms.

Do you find these new additions appealing on the PS4?
