Back during Gamescom, Sony has announced SharePlay, which allows virtual gaming with friends in either co-op or competitive mode to transform your PS4 experience into one of a "virtual couch."

This time, Sony's press conference in Tokyo has detailed new features coming to both the PS4 and PS Vita. According to the PlayStation Blog, the two PlayStation platforms will be getting Themes, a feature harking back to the PS3, now debuting to the PS4 and PS Vita in the fall.

The Themes Support will come to the PS4 via the 2.0 System Update, while the PS Vita will get it with the 3.30 update. The report adds that this is the most requested feature by PS4 owners, with some customized themes snapped and shot for your viewing pleasure in the link above.

Besides the Themes Support, there is also an additional update for the PS Vita, one that will now allow you to watch livestreams of the PS4 via Twitch of USTREAM through the "Live from PlayStation" app. This will allow for remote viewing of PS4 livestreams straight to your PS Vita to better integrate couch- and remote-gaming into your lifestyle.

Sept. 17 PlayStation Conference Announced

Sony seems to be planning quite a number of conferences. Its recently concluded pre-Tokyo Game Show 2014 is not the only one being held before the actual event arrives.

DualShockers reports that apart from the latest conference, which showcased more numbers for PlayStation platforms including the PS4 and PS3, there's also a mention of another one slated for Sept. 17. In the report, it was Atsushi Morita, president of the SCEJA, who announced that another press conference will occur. However, details about what will be announced or discussed during the conference have not been divulged.

'Summer Lesson' Coming to Project Morpheus

The "Pokken Tournament" is not the only title that will be coming from "Tekken" producer. The PS4 accessory, Project Morpheus, Sony's take on the virtual reality headgear, will be getting the title "Summer Lesson," as revealed by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan.

Siliconera reports that, for now, there are no details given about the title, though a few screenshots have been shown off in the link above. However, there have been reports that testers have already seen the game and have given testimonials about how "Summer Lesson" fits the bill for the Project Morpheus as a VR project.

If you're one of those raring to see how far Project Morpheus has gone as a VR headset, the Tokyo Game Show 2014 will provide more details and a demo for "Summer Lesson."
