Crash Bandicoot clues become more serious for PS4 fans
When news of an unannounced game being announced for the PS4 on the eve of its release date, fans have thrown in the name Crash Bandicoot with high hopes. Though this turned out to be an Uncharted game, there are still hints and clues for fans that keep them firmly believing that Naughty Dog's classic game will be coming to Sony's next-gen console.
Gaming news: Footage of Battlefield 4's DLC Second Assault, trophies for the unanannounced, and the final word on Titanfall sequel and its platform release.
Previous rumours that hint at Crash Bandicoot's presence in the PS4 lineup exploded when the title was listed in Amazon France for the PS4. Gamepur has captured a screenshot of the listing, which is no longer available on the Amazon website.
A lot of these "accidental" postings have often led to pretty good deliveries afterwards, and given that Crash Bandicoot has not exactly been in motion for almost two decades, it's a fair bet that there's something brewing there.
In addition to this, Redditors have found that Activision has removed Crash Bandicoot from its main website completely.
"A search for 'crash bandicoot' through their [Activision] homepage no longer yields any results. Also, the support page no longer offers support for Crash: Mind Over Mutant or those iOS kart racers," said Redditor Holmesy25, who started the thread.
Speculations have already pointed to the rumours that Sony has bought the rights to Crash Bandicoot, and that this meant further proof of the transaction. Forums from all over are exploding with excitement at the possibility, though Sony has not yet given any hints of Crash Bandicoot's return to the console.
What do you think of the rumours? Will a Crash Bandicoot game on the PS4 be a major boost to the console?
