Microsoft's touted tagline, "It's More fun on Xbox," may have found its grounding on the list of nine big exclusive games coming to Xbox One consoles before the holidays.

At the E3 2014, Microsoft has unveiled the exclusives list via the Xbox Wire, which includes the following titles:

  • "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" (includes "Halo 5: Guardians" multiplayer beta)
  • "Sunset Overdrive"
  • "Forza Horizon 2"
  • "Ori and the Blind Forest"
  • "Dance Central Spotlight"
  • "Disney's Fantasia: Music Evolved"
  • "Project Spark"
  • "Killer Instinct: Season 2"
  • "Fable Legends" (multiplayer beta).

Apart from the games, Xbox head Phil Spencer has already touched on the cloud computing factor of the Xbox One.

Quoting an interview, Gameranx reports Spencer had revealed another game that makes use of cloud computing decisions following "Titanfall." Titled "Crackdown," this game will be using the cloud computing system on explosions.

"With Crackdown we're actually using the destruction calculations in the cloud," said Spencer in an interview quoted by Gameranx. "And then locally what you see is that you actually see the rendering of where the different particles where things are landing on the ground... we kind of ended our video with this huge massive explosion," he added.

Big Strides of Progress with Project Morpheus

Virtual reality gaming with the PS4 is far from being just a dream, with the announcement of more updates with the first major game coming with full Project Morpheus support, titled "The Assembly."

"The Assembly includes lots of the gameplay mechanics that we found worked well in VR. For example, you get to control two different characters at various points, and in VR, you really notice details like their different heights, sounds and voices," said Patrick O'Luanaigh, CEO of nDreams, at the PlayStation Blog.

"Rather than playing as a silent character, we found that playing the role of characters in the story works really well, and helps make The Assembly feel quite different to most other VR projects," O'Luanaigh added.

The studio has been experimenting with Project Morpheus as early as mid-2013, and "The Assembly" has come a long way in terms of having gameplay mechanics that have been tailored for the headset.

The game is still in progress, but already has a playable demo as featured in the E3 2014, with the trailer showcased below.

'Bloodborne' Gets More Details from SCE Japan

Over at the Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio and FromSoftware, the exclusive title "Bloodborne" gets more details, starting with the announced early 2015 launch date on the PS4.

The rumoured game coming out of FromSoftware, with previous screenshots of scary monsters and a gritty environment, has been confirmed and detailed. "Bloodborne" features a plague of sorts, which has created monsters and beasts afflicted with the illness. As a traveler, players will be going to Yharnam to discover the depths of the madness in that world, going on combats and basically experiencing the same intensity as "Demon's Souls."

"From the beautiful and melancholic architecture to the debris lining the street, Bloodborne will deliver an extremely rich and detailed world, all thanks to the power of the PlayStation 4 system. In addition, the PS4 system has allowed us to have an expanded draw distance, so we can show more of the world at any one time," said Masaaki Yamagiwa over at the PlayStation Blog.

"New lighting effects allow us to add more atmosphere and tension to the game, making the horrifyingly detailed beasts and giant boss enemies you'll be facing even more frightening," Yamagiwa added.

The developers are currently hard at work with the online experience for "Bloodborne," as the game plans on maximising the Share capabilities on the PS4.
