Reality Star Kylie Jenner Says She Is 'Not Materialistic' Though She Loves Her Clothes
Kylie Jenner, who has just bought a U.S. $2.7 million home of her own at the age of 17, has said in a recent interview that she is “not materialistic” but “spiritual.” In her latest interview with a fashion magazine, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters has said that she has not opened-up to her fans on the social media because she knows they will be judgmental. The teenager talked about how she never felt the pressure to be a good role model because she has always done “the right thing.”
“There’s definitely a spiritual side to me and I honestly want the best for everyone. I’m not materialistic, I love clothes and all that stuff, but I don’t need it to live,” the teenager is quoted as saying to Fault magazine. Jenner drives a U.S. $125,000 Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV and is often seen displaying her designer clothes and handbags on her Instagram account.
The 17-year-old said that since she has achieved everything at a very young age, she has realised that money is “not everything.” The younger sister to reality star Kim Kardashian also said that people have a wrong opinion of her. She feels that not many people know “the real Kylie,” even after they see her daily on reality television. The teenager said that the reality television is just “10 per cent” of her life and there is a “whole other side” of her that people have not seen.
Kylie, who has practically grown-up on the set of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians," said that her friends often get “freaked out” when they come into her world and she feels sad about it. The younger sister to model Kendall Jenner said that her family “handles a lot” of public pressure. There was speculation in the media that Kylie had undergone plastic surgery to make her lips look fuller. But the teenager blasted the media on Twitter saying that the change in her lips is just a “part of her growing up.”
Kylie also told the magazine that she feels like a girl who “is an easy target to talk about” but she tries to focus on positive things in her life. The teenager looks stylish on the magazine cover page pictures, clicked by celebrity photographer Lionel Deluy. She is styled by Monica Rose.
