The iOS 7 jailbreak unexpectedly arrived this weekend with a couple of questions and issues. While millions of iOS fans have been eagerly waiting for this jailbreak for months already, this release brings a number of reasons to skip the iOS 7 jailbreak. Here are some reasons why people should skip the iOS 7 jailbreak - at least for now.

iOS 7 Cydia Support is Lacking

This recent jailbreak does not have the official version of Cydia, which means that it does not include the fixes that Jay Freeman, the creator, has been working on. The iOS 7 jailbreak is not expected to deliver similar experience like the past jailbreaks because of the Cydia version installed. According to Got To Be Mobile, Mr Freeman is working on the new iOS 7 Cydia version, which, based on his tweets, requires an iOS 7 jailbreak release form Evad3rs to work.

Along with the Cydia issues is the limited number of iOS 7 Cydia apps and tweaks that are available at the time being. Apps like Auxo, DashBoardX and Zephyr are not yet made available.

Jailbreak can Cause Instability

Despite how good the jailbreak tool is, installing unsigned apps and tweaking iOS 7 may cause instability. Although some users do fine with it, some reports say that reboots and small crashes are experienced while using a jailbroken device. Those who have the patience and time to deal with these issues can jailbreak all they want, but then again, for those who do not want to lose the ease and the reliability of their devices might want to skip the jailbreak instead.

Waiting for Updates

One thing that smartphone owners should do after they've jailbroken their devices is to avoid official iOS updates. It is the price that they have to pay for having a myriad of features through the jailbreak.

As of the moment, Apple is working on the iOS 7.1 and it may be released anytime soon and perhaps even sooner than the release of the Evad3rs jailbreak. As such, those looking forward to having the newest software from Apple might want to steer clear from the jailbreak for now.
