Crystal Dynamic’s “Rise of the Tomb Raider” is currently getting a lot of fans on the Xbox One with its excellent gameplay and story, but sadly, the game is only limited to one console for now. However, previous reports show that the PC version of “Rise of the Tomb Raider” will launch in January, and a new development further solidifies that the game will launch early next year.

Recently, Valve has opened up a new Steam page dedicated to “Rise of the Tomb Raider.” The title can’t be pre-ordered, but the page does note that the game will launch in January 2016. Not much is seen on the Steam page aside from an artwork for the game and a few first impressions by reviewers. The Steam page also details most of the game’s story and core gameplay features.

Earlier this month, online retailer Amazon released a listing for the “Rise of the Tomb Raider.” Amazon provided a more concrete release frame compared with Steam’s January 2016 and noted that the game will launch on Jan. 29.

Steam holds a ton of “Tomb Raider” titles in its massive library. Among these is the prequel of “Rise of the Tomb Raider,” titled simply as “Tomb Raider,” so it’s no surprise that the sequel will launch to Steam as well. Meanwhile, there is no release frame for the PlayStation 4 version of the game yet, but the developers said that it will launch in 2016.

“Rise of the Tomb Raider” is highly praised and is considered a good sequel to the “Tomb Raider” reboot. Sadly, its release was overshadowed by that of the much-anticipated “Fallout 4.” The game still delivers to its promise though, and with the Baba Yaga the Temple of the Witch DLC scheduled to release in January, fans can expect more hours of gameplay from Lara Croft.
