No matter how much Simon Cowell wants Rita Ora judging on “X- Factor” in replacement of Mel B, the singer allegedly would not give in.

Daily Star UK claimed that Rita Ora, the coach of “The Voice UK" is dead set on joining the U.S. edition of “The Voice” so she would not be able to entertain Cowell’s offer of joining the “X-Factor” as a judge. According to the insider, Rita Ora’s second album has already been pushed back almost a year so her priority is to now promote the album rigorously, which means she would not be having time for anything else. She is also concentrating more on the U.S. market, which she is still trying to crack up to now. If she agrees to be a judge on the “X-Factor,” she would be committing herself too much on the U.K. market, and her international music ambitions may go bust. Ironically, when she was offered the job a year ago, she turned it down and yet signed on with BBC rival, “The Voice” as their coach.

Her exposure in the acting industry was attained only through four lines in the first installment of “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Remarkably, she would still be appearing on the second and third installments of the movie. Mirror UK reports that this information is confirmed by the Sony Pictures emails released by Wikileaks.

Daily Star UK also reports that Paloma Faith, Cowell’s second choice, also allegedly turned down the offer. She does not want the job either. She reportedly believes that judging on the reality competition would only negatively affect her credibility as a music artist. The “Can’t Rely on You” singer is said to be worried about what would happen if she signed on. First, she does not feel comfortable judging the talent of newbies. Second, she does not feel comfortable having mass attention on her personal life, which would happen if she becomes a judge of the famous reality show. The source shared that Faith has been consistent with her denial and hesitation to join the show as a judge and has even admitted to not owning a TV.
