Rita Ora Only Has Four Lines In 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Movie, Failure To Attend Premiere Spurs Rift Reports
Despite all the hard work she said she did when preparing for her role in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie, Rita Ora’s total number of lines for the highly-anticipated movie was just four. On the premiere night, she was noticeably absent, causing people to think there’s a rift going on.
Huffington Post reported that Rita Ora only has a total of four lines for the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie. The total length of appearance was just less than two minutes! This is considered shocking because Rita Ora herself said she prepared a lot for the movie, even learned French. According to the Huffington Post, Rita Ora in her role as Christian Grey’s sister, only said these four lines: “She’s here?” “Oh my God, you exist,” “Uck, Seattle baseball,” and a sentence uttered in French.
Rita however, did not shy away from promoting the movie, saying she’s still happy for her part. In her tweet prior to the London premiere, she described her role as a “blink and you’ll miss it” type of role, but she’s happy to be just part of the said raunchy but romantic movie. In her previous interviews however, she often talked about undergoing truing with acting and accent coaches and how she even pushed her music aside to commit more to her acting training.
Despite her happiness to be part of the movie, the singer failed to make an appearance on the “Fifty Shades of Grey” premiere, prompting rumours of rift. Rita did not attend the London premiere even if she herself tweeted about it and despite bing in town. According to the source of Mirror UK, Rita could not attend because she was going to make an appearance on ‘Graham Norton” with Jamie Dornan aka Christian Grey. “Rita was rehearsing as her appearance on "Graham Norton" was a performance of her new single with Charli XCX,” the source said. "Jamie was only being interviewed, so he didn’t need to rehearse.”
Even the singer did not appear on the premiere, fans still raved as Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson walked the grey carpet. A ruckus took place however when a protester threw some sort of pamphlet on to the carpet as the stars were walking into Leicester Square Odeon.
