Samsung Galaxy A7 Looks Rocking with Features Release Possibly to Take on iPhone 6
Samsung just revealed its Galaxy S6 series but the company appears to be working on more handsets for this year. In January, the company announced the Galaxy A7 with several regions seeing the release sometime after. Despite the attention on the Galaxy S6 series, the Galaxy A7 has also gained the attention with some noting that it might a good worth of anyone's buck. Is the A7 a shoo-in competitor of the iPhone 6s or is it just another Samsung phone?
Called as the thinnest Samsung yet, the Galaxy A7 comes with a 6.3mm build. Nonetheless, despite its slim appearance, the phone comes packed with features. The basic specs include: 151 x 76.2 x 6.3 mm (5.94 x 3.00 x 0.25 in), 141 g (4.97 oz) for weight, Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen offering 16M colors, 5.5 inches (~72.5% screen-to-body ratio), 1080 x 1920 pixels (~401 ppi pixel density) and Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Other specs include:
· Android OS, v4.4.4 (KitKat)
· Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 - A700FD/Exynos 5 Octa 5430 - A700F
· Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 - A700FD/Quad-core 1.8 Cortex-A15 GHz & quad-core 1.3 Cortex-A7 GHz - A700F
· Adreno 405 - A700FD
Nonetheless, there is always the difference between reading the specs and using the device. According to a review by Silicon Angle, people can expect the Galaxy A7 to start up fast once open. It boots from the get-go. People can also feel satisfied at the AMOLED screen working just right with the toned down Samsung TouchWiz. For a mid-range phone, people can expect great value to their money. People wanting to get the best out of their budget and not willing to spend as much as premium models can expect the Galaxy A to deliver satisfying results.
