The Samsung Galaxy A9 was spotted on GeekBench a few days ago and now, leaked reports of the phone have surfaced on AnTuTu. Specs revealed by benchmark testing hints at the phone’s high-end use. The A9 is expected to release on December 1, reports GSMarena.

The South Korean company has a string of Galaxy A smartphones lined up for the market in 2016. While the Galaxy A3X, A5X, A7X are likely to launch next year, the Galaxy A9 is grabbing all the limelight due to its latest appearance on cross-platform benchmarks.

Word is the Galaxy A9 will be big and user-friendly. It’s expected to have a 5.5-inch display and will feature Super AMOLED technology. Its full HD screen allows for superb quality videos.

GeekBench and AnTuTu gave similar hints about the phone’s Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8976 processor. This chip combines with the Adreno 510 GPU along with Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and four Cortex-A53 set at 1.4 GHz, reports Phone Arena.

Powered by 3 GB of RAM, the phone allows users to quickly switch between online pages without any hiccups. Seems the chipset will perform quite for a single-core processor. Note that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 620 processor in the Galaxy A9’s is seen as the fastest in the 600 series, thus ensuring heavy-duty performance.

Save as many videos and movies you want in the phone’s 32 GB internal space, expandable with a microSD card. As of the now, the phone’s camera specs haven’t been revealed, but the buzz is t its rear shooter will be 16 MP with an 8MP selfie shooter. Quite powerful and high in mega pixels, the Galaxy A9’s camera will be the major attraction.

The other connectivity options might include Wi-Fi, v4.00 Bluetooth, GPS connection, 3.5 mm headphones and two SIM slots.
