With September still the most anticipated date in terms of the potential reveal of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, there seems to be some people who have seen the upcoming Samsung device, albeit only in sketches.

The latest roundup of leaks point to the sketches and specs that were obtained by SIMOnlyRadar, which confirm some of the more known and rumoured specs from before.

As reported by SamMobile, the specs revealed include the 5.7-inch FHD AMOLED display, the 13-megapixel rear camera with Xenon Flash, the Exynos 5 Octa processor, and a possible choice for a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 8800 chipset that's slated for a U.S. release.

A high score at AnTuTu for Galaxy Note 3

With all the hype and battle that Samsung is against when it comes to one of its toughest competitors, HTC, it seems that the Korean manufacturer will hold a different event prior to the IFA 2013 in order to gain the upper hand in terms of consumer and media attention.

The latest in the string of rumours point to a Samsung Unpacked event, to be showcased on Sept 4, a technically scheduled event that was also held in 2012 on the same month, reports Phone Arena.

This means that Samsung may be readying to show off the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as early as Sept 4, and perhaps hold a tech demo come the IFA 2013.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has also been benchmarked with AnTuTu, where it got a high score of 33,082, which was a far cry from another benchmark test previously done for the same device that garnered only a score of 27,914.

According to Phone Arena, the difference here lies with the 1.9 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU processor that was used, as opposed to the previous 1.6 GHz. Although it should also be noted that the lower score was achieved with an Android 4.3, a higher version to the more recent test, which ran with the Android 4.2.2.

Anticipated UK release date and price

As per PC Advisor, if the September reveal date does push through--or if the Samsung Unpack event becomes a reality, it is likely that the UK will see a release date that's not later than the prime of the holiday season.

Not only does this put them at the advantage of meeting the anticipation of consumers right after the reveal at the IFA 213, it is also the perfect timeframe to be at the center of all the Christmas gift-buying.

It also falls at an advantageous date in its competition with Apple. Supposing that the release of the rumoured Apple devices iPhone 5S, iPad Mini 2, and iPad 5 for the fall season does push through, then Samsung has a device that can compete with the new lineup.

The report also touches on the potential price point for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 once it is introduced in the UK market.

Considering that it is one of the top phones and a flagship device of the brand, PC Advisor pegs the price at somewhere around £550. Though unlikely, Samsung may even hint at the potential price point of the device once it is revealed, hopefully come the IFA 2013.
