The much awaited release date of Samsung's phablet, Galaxy Note 3, may be held on sometime around September 1 to 5.

The rumour was based on previous Galaxy Note releases. The first Galaxy Note debuted at IFA Berlin, while the second gen Samsung phablet was announced a week ahead of the Berlin-based event. Based on the trends, we can expect a similar approach this year.

IFA Berlin 2013 will open its gates for the public on September 6th, and the Asians will probably host a Samsung Unpacked event in the week prior to it. September 6th lands on a Friday, therefore the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date might be scheduled in the September 1-5 time frame.

The South Korean phone maker will focus their actions on stealing Cupertino-based giant's market share. The Samsung Galaxy S4 will hit the market soon, and it will be the device to bite a big chunk of iPhone 5′s market share. Apple will launch the iPhone 5S later this summer so Samsung must fight back. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be its answer to the iPhone 5S, hitting the market a couple of months after the iOS-powered smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to make its debut in the third quarter of this year. Rumours point to possible September release date. There are speculations that Samsung will hold the announcement of the Note 3 on the annual IFA event in Berlin. The said launch will allow Samsung to maximize its profits and to complete the tried-and-tested September product cycle of the Galaxy Note series.

It is initially speculated that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 would make its grand debut at the 2013 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week in its keynote. The rumours are fuelled by the significant price drop of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 at some resellers early this month.
