Almost everything about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been leaked or rumoured even before its supposed reveal in September, except for one very crucial factor: the design.

Most of the leaks have been suggested to be prototypes or just back covers, with no indication of how exactly the device will look like. Assuming that Samsung goes with its usual trend and never creates too much of a different regarding the look of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the design from the previous iteration may not be as far off as the upcoming one.

However, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which has black and white variants, the third iteration will have three options: the standard black and white, as well as a pink version.

An exclusive report from Sam Mobile states that the pink Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will come at a later date than the black and white, as the former will come in late October.

Supposedly this version will come only to the South Korean and Taiwanese markets, but Samsung has yet to clarify these matters.

Tizen to make a debut in October?

September has been a month to mark for Samsung, as this holds not only its Samsung Unpacked event, which is the pegged release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, but also the IFA Berlin, wherein a possible demo of the phone may be held.

But it seems that October is also a date to save and remember, as Samsung will be holding its first developers' conference from the 27th to the 29th at San Francisco, California, according to Ubergizmo.

While there are no details that have been announced as of yet, speculations have already fired up, with the Tizen, Samsung's reported own OS, being the center of the show.

The Tizen has already been the focus of rumours, after the supposed delay in the development as well as the sudden emergence of news stating that devices bearing the Tizen OS will actually come as early as this year.

Perhaps another question to consider would be the way by which Samsung would present the Tizen OS. Previous reports have also stated that Tizen phones will be available as early as October, so does that mean the conference will already showcase the OS with a device?

The developers conference would be a great way to introduce the new OS, and slowly ease the market into the idea, as Samsung tries to figure out its next steps on what to do with the Android and Tizen systems.

Australia gets the rugged Samsung Galaxy S4 Active

Get ready to go rough and rugged as far as your daily activities are concerned, as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active becomes available in Australia, with a contract exclusively with Vodafone.

According to CNet, the rugged device will be available through Samsung stores at AUD$699. Vodafone will have exclusivity over the S4 Active, though this is said to last for only three months.

The handset will have an urban grey finish, but you can also have an orange back cover for those who want a more standout phone.
