The recently leaked information pertaining to the heavily rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date hints that the phablet will be announced in a press preview in IFA Expo on September 3, 2014. Also the Galaxy Note 4 was recently spotted in the AnTuTu benchmark database. This revealed the existence of 2 different models of the Galaxy Note 4 namely SM-N910S and SM-N910C.

The SM-N910S model number pertains to the processor from Qualcomm and the SM-N910C refers to Exynos model of the Note 4. It is worth noting that, the predecessor Galaxy Note 3 was also launched in September of last year and it holds a sales record of 12 million shipped units within 2 months of its launch. The Galaxy Note 3 is priced at US$632 on eBay in the U.S. and the Note 4 is expected to be priced roughly around US$800.

According to AnTuTu, the Galaxy Note 4 with model number SM-N910S will be powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 805) Krait 450 processor and Adreno 420 GPU. The SM-N910C model, on the other hand, will be powered by an octa-core (Samsung Exynos 5433) processor with ARM Mali-T760 GPU. Both the devices will house a whopping 3 GB of RAM and they will run on the recently released Android 4.4.3 KitKat OS.

The other salient Galaxy Note 4 features include 5.7 inches QHD display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels screen resolution, 16 MP rear-facing camera and 3.6 MP front-facing camera unit. In addition, the Note 4 will come with 32 GB of internal storage capacity. However, earlier rumors suggested that the Galaxy Note 4 might house up to 128 GB of internal storage.

According to The Korea Times, a senior official from a local supplier unit told the publication that Samsung is planning to release two models of Galaxy Note 4 with a curved OLED display and a regular OLED display. The official also said, "Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 4 phablet, UHD OLED TVs, a Google Glass rival, and home appliances at the upcoming IFA."

The publication also reported that the Galaxy Note 4's curved OLED display will be confined to niche markets and the other regular OLED display will be used for mass marketing. However, Samsung has not confirmed on the new developments.
