Samsung Galaxy Note 5 price slashed by $400 on Amazon
Amazon is selling the factory unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 5 at a huge discount of US$400 (AU$555). Samsung’s 2015 flagship smartphone is now priced at just $598 (AU$831), which, when compared to the regular Galaxy Note 5 price of US $999 (AU$1388) on the retailer website, translates into a cool 40 percent discount.
The deal, available for the international version of the unlocked 32GB variant of Galaxy Note 5 (Gold), with a model number N920, can be accessed via this link.
The unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 5 on sale will only be compatible with GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile. It will not work on CDMA networks such as Verizon and Sprint.
The smartphone on sale is offered by Shopebest, which has received 100 percent feedback on Amazon. The same seller is also offering the international version of the 32GB Galaxy Note 5 (Black) for US$610 (AU$848), which gives customers savings of up to US $398 (AU$553).
Currently, AT&T is offering the 32GB Galaxy Note 5 for US$740 (AU$1,029), whereas T-Mobile listed the smartphone at US$700 (AU$973) on full retail price.
Amazon has also listed the factory unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in Silver and White.
International versions of the smartphones were not originally intended for sale in the US market. Depending on the region it sells in, international variants differed in terms of default settings, manufacturer warranties and accessories.
