With the Galaxy Note 5 release date set in September, a new set of concept renders have surfaced online. The fresh renders are stunning and look almost convincing that of a real phablet waiting for release.

Apparently Concept Phones site has picked up design renders from the dedicated site Note5Galaxy. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 renders have been created based on the design elements from the recently released flagship Galaxy S6. The renders utilise the well-received metal and glass body from the Galaxy S6. As far as the reported Galaxy Note 5 specifications go, the handset will be 0.31-inch or 7.9 mm thick and will feature a killer 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 4K or Ultra HD resolution. It is worth noting that, the current-generation smartphones are using a maximum of 2K or Quad HD resolution. The 4K display in specific has already been speculated owing to the fact that Samsung Display is likely gearing up to ship 4K OLED panels before 2015 end. In addition to the regular/flat version of the Note 5, rumours point to a dual-edge screen variant as well, notes Phone Arena.

Moving on to the memory configuration, the Galaxy Note 5 will reportedly come with 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage capacity, along with microSD card support. Furthermore, the handset will reportedly sport a humongous 20 MP rear-facing camera unit with HDR and Full-HD recording. On the other hand, in order to elevate the phablet from the flagship, the Note 5 is expected to come with a retina scanner, wireless charging facility, dust and water proofing and lastly, a heart rate monitor.

Speaking of software configuration, Android 5.0 Lollipop will be the OS and the UI will apparently be taken care by the TouchWiz version seen in the Galaxy S6, along with some stylus-specific aspects for Note 5. Other key Note 5 features include a USB Type C port, fingerprint scanner and a solid 4,100 mAh battery unit, notes Note5Galaxy. Nonetheless, readers should note that, Samsung has not confirmed the Galaxy Note 5 specifications thus far.
