While Samsung is crunching numbers with the impressive sales of the latest Galaxy S6 line-up, a new report states that, the “Iron Man versions of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge” are gearing up for release. Apparently, the South Korean tech giant has struck a deal with Marvel Entertainment to promote the new variants.

According to The Korea Times, the tech giant has reportedly come up with killer promos, in addition to releasing various themes based on the Avengers characters for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. It is worth reminding that, only recently renditions of the Avengers-themed Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge leaked out. But then, Samsung has reportedly confirmed that it will convert the renditions into Avengers-themed devices for the movie buffs.

Lee Young-hee, head of marketing at Samsung mobile division, has apparently said that the colour of the Iron Man versions of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be red. To top it off, the tech giant will apparently list out other device-specific details after discussions with Marvel.

Meanwhile, the Iron Man versions of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge release date have reportedly been set for either May-end or early-June. Young-hee apparently revealed this information right after the screening of Avengers: Age of Ultron movie at a theatre in Seoul, South Korea. Notably, the movie screening was also attended by Samsung’s senior executives and this group included the chief of the smartphone division Shin Jong-kyun.

Speaking of Avengers: Age of Ultron, the movie apparently showcased several Samsung products including a tablet and the curved-display clad Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Moreover, the firm will reportedly utilise the Avengers theme for features like wallpapers, screen icons and ring tones, among others.

On the other hand, Samsung has started selling the Galaxy S6 series of handsets in 20 countries in April. Plus, the sales figures of these handsets are expected to cross the 70 million ambit. Interestingly, when The Korea Times asked Jong-kyun about the sales figures of Galaxy S6 handsets, the mobile chief apparently said "Cruising smoothly." But then, she apparently did not give any inputs on the approximate sales numbers. Also, when asked about the reports on the shortage of Galaxy S6 Edge models, she reportedly told, "The supply increased in May, compared to April."
