A large 12-inch tablet from Samsung has been the talk of the town lately. Few reports say that a larger iPad will come in 2014 and Samsung appears to get out ahead and release its own early next year.

The large tablet from Samsung will be called Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, according to MovePlayer. If the report is accurate, this new tablet will take the Galaxy Note 10 a notch higher and will beat the Apple iPad in the tablet market.

According to the FCC reports and a couple of leaks around the Internet, Samsung is gearing up to release a 12.2 inches tablet early next year. It is rumoured as the Galaxy Note Pro but the 12.2 inches version is not the only tablet in the works. In fact, according to Seeko, a Korean Web site, Samsung will have 12.2 inches Pro along with the 10 inches Galaxy Tab Pro and the Galaxy Note 8.4 Pro. If these rumours are to be believed, these tablet Pro models will have an AMOLED panels that Samsung has been working hard with.

Gotta Be Mobile reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro devices might make a debut at the CES in Las Vegas early next year with a release date not until mid-February. The Pro tablets are expected to hit the shelves during the second week of February.

The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is reported to feature an impressive 12.2 inches 2500 x 1600 resolution display, a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 9500 mAh battery and the S-Pen stylus.

Reports say that the Pro tablets will also come in 8.4 and 10.1 inches models, which will be available on 16GB storage, 5MP sensor rear cameras and the same specs with the 12.2 inches model.

So far, Samsung has made no official announcements about the Pro tablets yet and the rumours about it remain scarce but we expect to have more information and details come early next year. Significant news is likely to be made during the CES in January or at the Mobile World Congress in February.
