One of the biggest surprises in the recently concluded launching event of Samsung Galaxy S3 in Sydney is the fact that it will be available to Aussies today.

Samsung Australia finally unveiled its greatest handset to date in Sydney this morning. Also streamed online, the event featured a full presentation of the amazing features and specifications of the device.
"The Galaxy S III really positions us at the top of the smartphone market. When you look at the organic and intuitive user experience, the technology behind the device and the design, the Galaxy S III will really stand out from the crowd," said Tyler Mcgee, Vice President of Telecommunications, Samsung Electronics Australia.

"I have three features which I think are really cool with the Galaxy S III. The first one is S Voice which enables you to give voice commands to your device...the second one is smart stay which means that the phone will always stay awake when you're watching it and will sleep when you're not...the last one is direct call which means if you're texting someone and you decide 'I can't be bothered texting them'...it will recognise that you want to call that person and will dial them."
