Recently, Taiwan-based mobile manufacturer HTC unveiled HTC J Butterfly which is currently available only in Japan and is rumored to be making its way to Verizon.

The new HTC device is expected to battle head one with other smartphones in the market such as Samsung Galaxy S3. The device was introduced last August 29 as a successor of Galaxy S2.

The device boasts some of its amazing features such as a huge screen display, 4G/LTE connectivity, new operating system, and NFC support via S Beam. Samsung Galaxy S3 handsets with Android Jelly Bean update started to roll out in the tech market.

Below are the comparison of the specs and features of the two devices.

Screen Display - The Samsung Galaxy S3 has a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED screen. The HTC J Butterfly has a 5 inch Super LCD3 with 440ppi full HD display.

Processor - Samsung Galaxy S3 packed the Exynos 4412 Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 processor with 1GBof RAM while the HTC J Butterfly with the new Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz quad core processor with 2GB of RAM.

Operating System - Samsung's flagship phone was released running with Android's Ice Cream Sandwich. However, Jelly Bean update is already rolling out. The HTC J Butterfly comes with Android's latest Jelly Bean OS.

Storage - Samsung Galaxy S3 has 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants and comes with microSD slot up to 32GB. HTC J Butterfly has 16GB of internal storage plus a microSD slot.

Samsung Galaxy S3 is already available in Samsung Stores and through various carriers. HTC J Butterfly is speculated to also arrive later this year just in time for the holidays.
