A leakster has revealed the Samsung Galaxy S5 software design ahead of time with the new Samsung mobile UI in pastel colors, new font and a similar look to the Magazine UI seen in the Galaxy tablets launched at the CES 2014.

Although Samsung is not known to make official announcements about its devices ahead of time, reliable leakster like @evleaks made the rumor fire burning. Recently, @evleaks released three screenshots of what appears the new software UI that Samsung is currently exploring.

Although it did not make further details about the leak, the screenshots showed a new color scheme in pastels, which is a softer look compared to the usual bright UI in previous Samsung Galaxy devices. The new UI offers a lighter font that is significantly easier on the eyes. Also, there is no name for this new UI. It looks lot like the TouchWiz Magazine UI of the Galaxy Note Pro and Galaxy Tab Pro that were unveiled at the CES in Las Vegas.

Samsung likely considers these changes for its next Galaxy smartphone currently rumored as the Galaxy S5, a device which will replace the Galaxy S4.

Reports said the Galaxy S5 will sport the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 5.2 inches QHD display at 500+ ppi, 16MP sensor camera with auto focus, new processor which might be 64-bit in nature and possibly a metal chassis.

Rumors suggested a launch at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Spain in late February but another recent report from an industry insider Eldur Murzatin said the launch will be in March and the release date will be around May. This rumor made sense as the Galaxy S4 was previously launched in the same period last year.

Historically, Samsung is known to steer clear from major trade shows to announce its flagship devices, thus the Mobile World Congress launch is a bit unlikely.
