Gamers who are also looking at owning the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have a great offer and thanks to Samsung's partnership with OnLive. Now, quality games that can rival the graphics of console titles can now be streamed onto the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and owners will get free access to a library for some time.

The South Korean company has partnered with the OnLive that resulted in the offer of three months' worth of free access to the PlayPack subscription service, so long as you are using the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, reports Venture Beat.

"The addition of the OnLive app to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 makes high-end games available that normally can't be played on an Android tablet. We're excited to give Samsung customers a taste of cloud gaming with the gift of three free months of unlimited gaming," Mark Jung, OnLive executive chairman said to Venture Beat.

There's even the added bonus of a seven-day trial of the CloudLift system, also from OnLive and also for free. This service lets you connect to your Steam account so you can stream a title from your Steam library onto your Samsung Galaxy Note 4, instantly transforming it into a handheld device.

Wearable Devices To Get Flexible Battery?

In the succeeding three years, Samsung may be at the helm of developing better battery technology for wearable devices. At the very least, this appears to be the goal that the South Korean company may be aiming for as it showcases its latest creation in the battery department.

G for Games reports that the latest in Samsung's research involves a flexible, rollable battery that will continue to function regardless of the shape that it's forced to take. This new battery technology has been reportedly shown off at the InterBattery 2014 held in South Korea, Seoul.

Despite the unveiling of the new type of battery for wearable technology, Samsung still has a long way to go in perfecting it. The timeline that the company currently has for the flexible battery is three years before it's even ready for public availability.

Facebook and Samsung Towards More VR Devices

When the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was first unveiled, fans were treated to a new way of experiencing games and entertainment. And this was through the device's exclusive accessory, the Gear VR.

Technically, the Gear VR is not that far from the Facebook franchise, considering that the Gear VR was developed by Oculus Rift. Earlier this year, fans of the start-up VR headset company were surprised with the news that Facebook is the new proud owner of the Oculus Rift after a buyout.

Still, Phone Arena reports that the partnership with Facebook may put more virtual reality devices in the market. This also means that the social media platform may be the basis for the new VR technology that could put into consideration the designs and software needs of Facebook to embed some of it into the VR-plan.

For now, the Gear VR is the most that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 can go in terms of virtual reality devices. In itself, it is already a great step in terms of putting virtual reality experiences in the mobile industry.
