Sandra Bullock Is People Magazine's ‘World’s Most Beautiful Woman’ [Video]
People Magazine named Sandra Bullock 'The Most Beautiful Woman' in the world on April 22. This is the first time the 50-year-old has topped the list.
“I just said, ‘That’s ridiculous.'” Bullock told People magazine according to Time.com. The "Miss Congeniality" star also added that she had not told anyone the news. The Oscar winning actress also said that in spite of her glamorous cover photo shoot, real beauty is not based on looks. She added that real beauty is "quiet."
Bullock also said that the people she found most beautiful were the ones who "aren't trying." She talked about how she stays balanced and grounded. Bullock also talked about her 5-year-old son Louis, whom she adopted in 2010 after her divorce from Jesse James.
According to the New York Daily News, Bullock says that once when she was tucking him in, she told the toddler that she'd tuck him in even after she'd be more older and greyer. She revealed that Louis touched her face and said that she was not old "just happy."
The actress said that she allows everyone else to be the "uncles and aunties" who spoil him, but she's the one who "lays down the law." The report also added that Bullock revealed the toddler had no idea his mother was a famous movie star. She said that after "Gravity," Louis thought she was an astronaut.
According to the actress, she wants her profession to be "inconsequential" and a "non issue." She added that she wanted her son to be embarrassed by his mother like "all other parents."
