Save The Future In ‘Marvel Future Fight,’ Available Now
After three seemingly long years, The Avengers are back and this time they’re taking on the robot menace known as Ultron in “The Avengers: Age of Ultron.” To get fans excited for the film, Marvel games and NetMarble have officially released a new action RPG, with tons of Marvel characters called “Marvel Future Fight” worldwide for both iOS and Android devices.
The game as mentioned earlier is an action roleplaying game where players form a three-man team of their favourite Marvel super heroes, as they take on a variety of Marvel villains. These include Loki, Doctor Octopus and the mad robot that finally debuts on the big screen today, Ultron.
According to Pocket Gamer, one of the game’s core gameplay mechanics is the recruitment system. Players will be able to collect a ton of Marvel heroes and villains for their three-man team, while also upgrading their stats, getting them new costumes and equipping them with specific materials.
While players will choose three heroes for the mission, only one hero can be seen in the screen and controlled directly. Players will be able to switch between the three heroes and sometimes the other characters will actually help the player out, by attacking the various enemies on screen.
“Marvel Future Fight” has a story written by long-time comic scribe Peter David, who most comic book fans know for his comic runs on “Incredible Hulk,” “X-Factor,” “Young Justice” and “Aquaman.” The writer manages to get some funny jokes and clever quips in the dialogue, even making fun of the fact that the origin of Ultron had been changed in the film.
A review of the game from Android Central has mostly positive things to say about the game, praising the two combat controls, the dialogue of Peter David and the variety of playable characters. That being said, it had also been stated that the game does fall into some free-to-play trappings, like a stamina bar for missions and the amount of in-game currency needed for better things.
That being said, anyone curious about “Marvel Future Fight” can download the game now on his or her iOS and Android devices right now and do it for free. With over 36 characters and more to come, this game can be considered as a dream for hardcore Marvel fans.
