Setting Up PS4 Remote Play On PS Vita
The PS4 has features that allow users to play games on the PS Vita via the Internet, the Remote Play. Basically, it uses the PS4 processor to play games on the PS Vita and allow users to continue from where they left off prior to going mobile.
With the Remote Play enabled, users can still play through an outside network provided that the Internet connection is at its optimum level of performance.
Below is a step-by-step process that shows you how to enable the PS4 Remote Play on the PS Vita. To compete the process successfully, you need to access your PS4 and your PS Vita at the same time.
1. Go to Settings on the PS4 > PS Vita Connection Settings > allow Remote Play.
2. Then, you may opt to allow the PS Vita to Connect Directly that can bypass the Internet and the home router, if the PS Vita and the PS4 are in close proximity to each other.
3. Then, select Add Device. On the PS Vita, go to the PS4 Link > Start > Remote Play then input code to connect the devices.
4. After following the initial steps above, you may now proceed to select the PS4 link > Remote Play > Start Playing.
You already have total control over your PS4. However, if you have your games on disc, you still need a disc to play. On the other hand, the PS Vita can arouse the PS4 and you can still play PS4 games that are in your hard drive. Basically, what the user sees while playing the PS4, the person who uses the PS Vita also sees.
When the PS4 Remote Play is activated on both devices, users can move between system options and games. However, because the PS Vita doesn't have the similar controls as the PS4, users are required to use the touchpad found on the back to use all the controls. As such, even though PS4 games can be played on the PS Vita, the experience isn't the same because of the differences of the two devices.
