The PlayStation 4’s impressive library is scheduled to expand yet again. This time, it seems that several PlayStation 2 classics will make their way to Sony’s current console. The games are some of the best of what the PlayStation 2 has to offer, so players should watch out for them when they hit the PlayStation Store.

Several ESRB published ratings have recently come out lately, and they show six PlayStation 2 classics for the PlayStation 4, Dualshockers reports. The games are “Wild Arms 3,” “Siren,” “Primal,” “Okage: Shadow King,” “Fantavision” and “Ape Escape 3.” These games are possibly coming to the PlayStation 4 via the emulation feature recently announced by Sony.

Apparently, “Fantavision” is coming out anytime within this day. It was first made available on the European PlayStation Store, so gamers from other regions could expect the title to come soon. “Fantavision” was announced during the latest PlayStation Blogcast, so it’s no surprise that it is the first to be released.

However, no release time frame has been announced for the five other games.

Fans could expect more PlayStation 2 titles for the PlayStation 4 within the following months. Sony announced the emulation feature for the PlayStation 4 a couple of weeks ago, and fans were excited with the idea of once again reliving PlayStation 2 classics.

IGN reports that Sony showcased the emulation feature via a “Dark Cloud” game which runs on the PlayStation 4. However, the trailer was pulled down immediately for unknown reasons. Reports suggest that the emulation feature will not be capable of playing a player’s library of PlayStation 2 discs and PlayStation 2 classics from the PlayStation 4.
