'The Sims 4 Get To Work' Expansion Pack Gets March Release Date
The “Get to Work” expansion pack for “Sims 4” is getting an early release. Electronic Arts recently announced that it will be available on the last day of March.
Electronic Arts has previously announced an April 2015 release for the “Get to Work” expansion pack for the “Sims 4.” However, according to Otaku Study developers have recently confirmed an early release, pushing it forward to March 31, 2015 before the Easter Long Weekend. The expansion pack will reportedly be available to purchase for both PC and Mac platforms.
The “Get to Work" expansion pack is believed to be the very first full-scale expansion for “Sims 4” and is expected to amp the gaming experience for its players. The content brings with it additional game features such as three new playable careers, which gamers can use on their Sims. Like any other employment, the success of these careers depends on the gamer’s, or in this case the Sims’ performance. According to Trusted Reviews, a progress bar will be displayed at the top-left-hand corner of the screen, which shows the series of tasks needed to be completed before the day ends in order to get a positive feedback from the boss.
Trusted Reviews likewise shared on its site some of the activities involved when players choose the doctor’s career path. Basically, this job requires the Sim to be at the local hospital daily to learn more about being a doctor. Naturally, it would reportedly place the Sim as an assistant to a senior medical staff first, but it doesn’t take long to level up to finally being able to test patients’ symptoms and collect specimens. However, the ultimate aim for the doctor is said to be able to deliver a Sim baby.
The “Get to Work” expansion pack is believed to be identical to “The Sims 3: Ambitions,” which allows gamers to have their Sims work as architectural designers, firefighters, ghost hunters, investigators and stylists. Additionally, the expansion is reportedly also similar to “The Sims 2: Open for Business” since players can have their Sims open retail stores such as boutiques, bakeries and a photo studio.
