Singer, John Mayer, is now speaking out about Taylor Swift's song "Dear John" in which she allegedly wrote about him. Mayer said it made him feel terrible because he did not deserve to be slammed by Swift that way.

Mayer has never been shy about revealing details about his relationships. However, the singer-songwriter claims he was humiliated by the song that his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift apparently wrote about their break-up.

The couple reportedly began dating in late 2009 but split in June 2010. Swift, who is known for using past boyfriends as inspiration for her music, included the woeful ballad about Mayer on her album "Speak Now" which was released in October 2010. The lyrics on Swift's break-up song accuse the song's subject of playing dark, twisted games on her and having a sick need to give love and take it away.

Mayer told the "Rolling Stone" magazine that he was also really caught off-guard by Swift's song. The Grammy winner has also called the tune a cheap songwriting.

"I'm pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do," the 34-year-old singer tells Rolling Stone.

"I never got an e-mail. I never got a phone call about how she felt," John said.

"I know she's the biggest thing in the world and I'm not trying to sink anybody's ship, but I think it's abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, 'Wait till he gets a load of this!' That's bulls***t. I mean, how would you feel if at the lowest you've ever been, someone kicked you even lower?" the singer further added expressing his frustration over the matter.

Mayer has always been criticized for speaking too candidly about his past relationships. In an April 2010 interview with Playboy magazine, the singer has described Jessica Simpson as a 'sexual napalm.'

Then, he also expressed in the magazine his regret over losing Jennifer Aniston. Well, maybe John Mayer will be distracted from the humiliation that he felt from Taylor Swift for he has something to do to keep himself busy. The singer is currently promoting his new album "Born and Raised."
