Being a real man takes more than abs and good looks, according to “Sons of Anarchy” star Charlie Hunnam who recently wrapped up his biker drama show in December. Now filming his latest movie project “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur” with director Guy Ritchie, Hunnam recently revealed that frontal nudity is not a new thing for him and he got nothing to hide.

“The level of nudity that I do now, which is taking my shirt off, doesn’t bother me at all,” Hunnam told Elle Canada when asked about doing a frontal nudity. “But I have done full frontal before. I think when I was young, I was a little bit more fearless with that stuff. I don’t know...I’m sure I would; I have nothing to hide.”

The “Crimson Peak” star made his acting debut when he was 18 on the TV show “Queer as Folk” and that is where he made his first full frontal. But due to censorship rules the scene was cut from the show because he was playing a 15-year-old character.

Best known for his role as Jax teller, the 34-year-old shared his views about masculinity and what it means to be a man today. He admitted that being a real man means living you “code of honour and being a rock for the people around you.” He also revealed that in today’s world being a man means “being in touch your feminine side” because real strength requires vulnerability.

The handsome actor famously dropped out from a lead role in “Fifty Shades of Grey” but his bold move also paid off for he snagged a lead role in Ritchie’s six-movie deal. Playing the young King Arthur, Hunnam is slowly becoming one of Hollywood’s lead men with projects like “The Lost City of Z” and “American Druglord.”

“Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur” also stars Eric Bana as Uther Pendragon, King Arthur’s father, Jude Law as the villainous Vortigern and “Game of Thrones” star Aidan Gillen (Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish) as Goosefat Bill. “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strangers Tide” actress Astrid Berges-Frisbey as the Arthurian love interest Guinevere.
