Spencer Pratt Says Bruce Jenner's Transition Is No Surprise
While the whole world speculated about Bruce Jenner’s identity prior to him admitting it on national television, Spencer Pratt said he too, has a gut feel that “there was something going on” with the Olympian for years. Once a good friend of Brody Jenner, Bruce’s son, the former “Hills” star shared that he already noticed “certain things.”
Speaking with US Weekly, Spencer spilled that it has actually been “ten years” since he noticed that something is different with Bruce. Spencer was a good friend with Brody, both of them starring at the Fox reality series, “The Princes of Malibu,” and “The Hills.” It can be remembered that they fought back in 2010. "I was pretty aware of the situation for like, the last ten years, you know," he added. "I knew there was something going on, you know, years ago, certain things...”
He added that he even talked to Brody about it and the son was very excited and supportive. Spencer added that his full support is with Bruce, because the gold Olympian medalist can certainly whatever he wants. His wife Heidi Montag also added her two cents on the situation and said she and Spencer support “the pursuit of happiness.”
What Spencer said about Brody’s support of his father’s transition is evident in how he posted encouraging words on social media following Bruce’s confession with Diane Sawyer of his woman identity. When Bruce told Diane that for “all intents and purposes,” he is a woman, Brody and his brother Brandon took to Instagram to show their acceptance and support.
Brody wrote in her Instagram that his father “won another gold” that night for being brave on admitting everything and that he stands with him “on this journey.” Brandon on the other hand, posted a picture on Instagram -- a black and white photo of him astride his father’s shoulders as a little boy. He captioned this photo with two sweet words: “proud son.” The two also appeared with their older siblings Burt and Cassandra on 20/20 interview to state their support. Brandon said he felt like he just got an “upgraded” version of his dad. Kylie and Kendall Jenner have been equally supportive of their father, as his stepdaugthers, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian.
