Square Enix releases new pre-release patch for ‘Just Cause 3’
Before its Dec. 1 release, publisher Avalanche Studios has launched a pre-release update for the upcoming action-adventure game, “Just Cause 3.” With the game featuring a huge 400 square mile in-game map, it’s no surprise that the developer is doing its best to assure an excellent launch for the upcoming title.
Ahead of its Dec. 1 launch, several players have already gotten their hands on “Just Cause 3.” Several gameplay videos have even been posted online. Because of this, publisher Square Enix detailed an pre-release patch coming to the “Just Cause 3.” Of course, those who already have a copy of the game will already receive the update while those who will get their hands on “Just Cause 3” on Dec.1 will receive it upon getting the game. The patch notes for the pre-release update has been revealed courtesy of PCGamesN.
Headlining the patch notes are several fixes and improvements on various aspects of “Just Cause 3.” The game’s massive open-world has been improved upon making it more detailed and rendered. Some roads were even changed to prevent traffic jams and accidents. Aside from the graphical overhaul of the map, both vehicles and enemies have also been tweaked. The patch notes also detailed several gameplay fixes including stability/crash, camera, minor mission and challenge bugs, and localisation fixes and updates.
The update will also provide a few optimisations which will make the game look better all in all. Aside from making it look better, the LoD, lighting and animation optimisations will also ensure that the game will run smoothly.
Other changes coming along with the update include a few tweaks to the game’s audio. Level and EQ adjustments will be made while enemies will now not talk over each other so the players can understand them more clearly.
“Just Cause 3” is looking to be one massive game featuring one of the biggest open-world maps to date. The gameplay video seen below showcase just how massive the 400-square mile map is.
