‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ allow players beta access for one more day
DICE’s flagship sci-fi shooter “Star Wars Battlefront” will be available to players for one more day. The developer has announced an extension for the beta access, which now closes on Oct. 13.
DICE has extended the beta period to use fans’ experience of the game, understand their needs and improve the game. The team will also be conducting technical tests on their infrastructure.
“These tests are to help us find some extreme scenarios, and that means some players may experience occasional issues such as being kicked from the game or losing connectivity,” the developer announced via the official website.
These tests are part of the company’s pre release plans to improve the gameplay experience and remove bugs from the game. DICE has captured the essence of the game in “Star Wars: Battlefront” than any other franchise before it. The beta gives the player an overview of what to expect in the final release by providing five more modes that will be available in the final game.
Fans who pre-order “Star Wars: Battlefront” will be the first players to witness the Battle of Jakku, taking place at a time after the rebel victory in the Battle of Endor. Players will experience events that were responsible for the destruction of Jakku, as reported by Superherotype. Also, pre-ordering the game will allow players the option to fight the battle one week early starting on Dec. 1. Other players will have access to this content on Dec. 8.
The beta version of the game was started on Oct. 8 and is available across Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The beta version is free and available to everyone. "Star Wars Battlefront" will be available on Nov. 17. Xbox One payers will get earlier access for those who are also subscribed to the EA Access program.
