‘The Witcher 3’ Hearts of Stone DLC gets first images, starting level and discount for GoG gamers
Players of “The Witcher 3” had just recently received good news with the announcement of the Hearts of Stone DLC. This time, some new images in the expansion have recently come to light.
The new images are gameplay screenshots obtained by Gamepur. According to the source, one of the screenshots featured Shani. Granted that a new romance is reported to debut with the DLC, the developer has yet to confirm if Shani’s appearance means that she can be romanced in the Hearts of Stone DLC.
“The Witcher 3” Hearts of Stone DLC will also bring in new content that will be enjoyable for those who are already at level 30 and above. Community manager Marcin Momot had confirmed via Twitter that the new content can be played either after or during the main story due to the level of the quests, VG 24/7 reported.
Since the New Game Plus has also been released prior to the newest DLC, Momot had also confirmed that the quests for the new DLC will be scaled up accordingly. While the newest DLC for “The Witcher 3” is still coming out in Oct. 13, fans can take in the teaser trailer from CD Projekt Red, as seen below. The DLC will reportedly expand from Oxenfurt, though the new location has not yet been revealed.
Additionally, some more details about the new expansion for “The Witcher 3” have started to pop up. It appears that the new content will come in the form of map expansion as well as loads of new weapons, monsters, characters and even Gwent cards.
For “The Witcher 3” players who do not have an Expansion Pass, but would want to avail of the Hearts of Stone DLC can take advantage of the new discount over at GOG. Gamingbolt reported that the standalone DLC has a 15 percent discount ongoing, so it can be purchased at $8.49. This offer, however, is only available for the digital version of the game, but it is not a bad offer considering the 10 hours of additional content coming with the expansion.
