‘Star Wars Battlefront’ shown off in new trailer, trophies, new footage with Han, Leia and more
A new video featuring some gameplay footage of the three new playable characters in “Star Wars Battlefront” has been spotted. This serves as one of the hypes for the upcoming shooter from EA and DICE, which is slated to launch in just a little over a week.
According to Eurogamer, the video montage seen in the link shows off the different areas that can be explore in the game. The “Star Wars Battlefront” video shows a few of the capabilities and attacks that Han Solo, Leia and the Emperor can do.
There is also a footage showing Boba Fett shooting through the air. He makes use of tactical aerial shots, which is an advantage of playing his character. Darth Vader still makes an appearance as a playable character wielding his red lightsaber.
Other parts of the gameplay showcase first-person fighting from ships or on land. It also shows the use of different weapons to kill enemies. Finally, there is a split-screen view of two players seemingly targeting each other. The gameplay montage traverses different maps, so the fights take place in several worlds and landscapes.
If the gameplay trailer is not enough hype, EA has also released a new “Star Wars Battlefront” live action trailer that goes a little wayside of strange. All over the world, people suddenly disappear, leaving behind their clothes, bags, skateboards and newspapers. The last of the people to disappear is none other than “Pitch Perfect” star Anna Kendrick. After this, it’s shown that the disappearing people are transported into the world of “Star Wars Battlefront,” where they play as heroes, villains, or support fighters.
EA has also released via the official "Star Wars Battlefront" website the list of trophies in the game, which total to 43 all in all. This include all the easy and hard to obtain ones. Players will need to go through every multiplayer game mode, win one match for each of the modes, kill 10 enemies in different maps and in different scenarios, defeat a hero while playing as a hero on Heroes vs Villains, reach Rank 50, earn 25,000 credits in multiplayer and even play as every hero in multiplayer.
Since “Star Wars Battlefront” is multiplayer at the forefront, there are also some trophies that require interaction with friends. Players will need to complete any mission with a friend and use a partner’s Star Card hand 10 times in multiplayer. Earning stars in the game is also part of the trophies. “Survivor” and “Impressive. Most Impressive” requires earning a total of 5 stars each for Survival missions and Battle missions respectively.
“Star Wars Battlefront” is coming to the PS4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 17. Check out the newest live trailer below.
