'Suits' Season 5 Update: New Season's First Poster Says, 'People In Glass Offices Shouldn’t Throw Stones'
The first poster of “Suits” Season 5 is out. It features all the five principal characters, Donna (Sarah Rafferty), Louis (Rick Hoffman), Harvey (Gabriel Macht), Mike (Patrick J. Adams), Rachel (Meghan Markle) and Jessica (Gina Torres).
The tagline on the poster says “People in glass offices shouldn’t throw stones.” [Check the Poster Here]. All the characters are seen boxed inside what looks like a conference room. Donna and Jessica are at the two far ends. Donna is looking at Harvey while Louis is looking at her, and Harvey seems to be looking outside, probably in a thoughtful mood. Mike is sitting on the table and he is looking outside as well while his fiancee Rachel is looking at him.
When “Suits” returns with the first instalment of Season 5, the fictional legal firm Pearson Specter Litt may see the ramifications of Donna walking out of Harvey’s office and becoming Louis’ secretary. She told Harvey in “Suits” Season 4 finale that she is leaving him. This development is set to affect each of the character present in the firm.
Here is the official logline of “Suits” Season 5 (via TV Line): “In the premiere, Pearson Specter Litt has scored a hard-fought victory, but the fight has left the firm shaken. Although she avoided jail time, Donna has left Harvey after more than a decade of working together. She is now working for his long-time rival Louis. And while Jessica readjusts to being single, Mike and Rachel are giddy after his marriage proposal.”
With Donna gone from her desk in front of his office, Harvey may finally deal with his personal demons and relationship issues. He may or may not get a new secretary but he for sure is getting a Harvard educated, no-nonsense shrink. Christina Cole has been roped in to play a character called Dr. Paula Agard who specialises in high end corporate consulting. TV Line reported that she is going be the “perfect match” for Harvey and the two will be seen playing a game of cat and mouse, though it is not clear if she will be the suave lawyer’s personal therapist.
Meanwhile, the first confirmed guest-star to feature in the new season is former NBA basketball player Charles Barkley. He will be seen playing Harvey's high-profile client in episode 3.
“Suits” Season 5 Is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, June 24.
