The Winchester brothers return with a huge wall between them in "Supernatural" Season 10 as the CW TV series' new season introduced Dean Winchester's (Jensen Ackles) twisted demon side. The premiere episode titled "Black" introduced an interesting storyline between Dean and a mysterious guy named Cole (Travis Aaron Wade) who put Sam's (Jared Padalecki) life in danger.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major spoilers on "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 1 titled "Black."

The episode begins with Sam frantically searching for his missing brother. Sam's desire to see his brother again heightens to the point that he is already doing horrible things, even to demons, in order to get some answers on Dean's whereabouts.

Dean even left a note telling his brother to let him go but Sam is determined to find Dean this time. Sam finds a lead and called Castiel (Misha Collins) for help but the angel is really sick and weak due to his fading grace.

While Sam searches for his brother, demon Dean enjoys karaoke, alcohol, women and hanging out with the King of Hell, Crowley (Mark Sheppard). Meanwhile, angel Hannah (Erica Carroll) shows up in Castiel's place to reveal that the angels currently do not have a leader, Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) is still in jail and the angels are conducting meetings on rebuilding and reorganization.

Then, Hannah asks Castiel for his help regarding two angels that went rogue. The two go on a mission to find Daniel and Idina, bring them back to Heaven and punish them for killing an angel who was sent to take them home.

Hannah noticed Castiel's condition and informed him that something must be done or otherwise he will die. As for their mission, they found the rogue angels but their meeting ended up with Daniel getting killed and Idina escaping while Castiel and Hannah are badly wounded from their fight.

Sam conducts an investigation on the lead that he found. Sam is shocked to see his brother, Dean, in a convenience store's surveillance video killing a demon avenging Abaddon's (Alaina Huffman) death with the First Blade and sporting a pair of black demon eyes.

Sam heads to the convenience store to further investigate. The cashier handed Sam the cell phone of Dean's victim and then Crowley received an angry phone call from Sam. During their conversation, Sam told Crowley that he will find his brother, save him or die trying.

Sam succeeded in locating where Dean and Crowley are but he got captured on his way by Cole, a mysterious guy that has a personal grudge against Dean Winchester. Cole revealed to Sam that he is a hunter that goes a long way back with Dean Winchester.

Cole is obviously using Sam as bait to make Dean show up. The older Winchester brother obviously did something awful to this man that would make him want revenge.

Unfortunately for Cole, Dean currently has a twisted demon side that he displayed during their conversation over the phone. Dean firmly told Cole that there will be no trade or meet up but he will find him and kill him.

Cole thinks what Dean said will be a cold comfort to his dead brother. However, Dean responded that he already asked Sam to let him go and whatever mess Sam got himself into now is his problem.

When Cole continued to threaten that he will slit Sam's throat, Dean even encouraged him to do that because Sam knows him. "And he knows for sure that if I am one thing, I am a man of my word," Dean stated before hanging up.

The ending scene showed Cole wondering what his next move will be. Find out how Sam will get out of this mess when "Supernatural" Season 10 returns with episode 2 titled "Reichenbach" on Tuesday night, Oct. 14, at 9 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
