Executive producer Jeremy Carver recently teased in an interview the "Big Bad" that the Winchester brothers deal with in "Supernatural" Season 10. With the focus of the new season on demon Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam's (Jared Padalecki) search for his brother, it looks like the two characters will turn into villains at some point as they go on a dark and personal road.

In a TV Line interview, Jeremy Carver revealed that Sam and Dean's questionable actions will be a major part of the new season's early episodes. "The question 'Am I my own worst enemy?' is certainly a possible theme you could put to the season," Carver shared.

A released video clip for the "Supernatural" Season 10 premiere episode titled "Black" showed how dark Sam Winchester went while searching for his missing brother. The executive producer further teased during the interview that Sam will even go darker than the scene in the video clip where he tortured a demon for information on Dean's whereabouts.

Jeremy Carver admitted that the viewers will still meet the other "Big Bads" of "Supernatural" Season 10 but the main focus of the new season is really on the personal arcs of the main characters since there will be no "end-of the-world" mythology or villain who will destroy the planet Earth. The executive producer teased that characters are going to be introduced in "Supernatural" Season 10 that have a personal connection to the main characters since everyone is going on a much more personal path.

Another promo video that features the rise of the "Deanmon" or demon Dean showed the new behaviour of the "Supernatural" character. Jeremy Carver revealed that the experience of showing a different side of Dean has been a lot of fun but actor Jensen Ackles admitted that there is nothing really funny with his character's new status and attitude because it is scary.

The 36-year-old CW star shared during the Comic Con press room that Dean's carefree and careless attitude became the scariest part for him in portraying his TV character. According to Carver, Sam and Castiel will both look for Dean in the beginning of the new season even though they will do it in very different ways. As for Cas and Dean's connection, Jeremy Carver further confirmed that the bond between the two characters is still strong.

"Supernatural" Season 10 returns to the CW Network with the premiere episode titled "Black" on Tuesday night, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m. ET.
