The latest and most interesting spoiler to surface for "Supernatural" Season 9 involves fallen angel Ezekiel. The new character is set to appear in the premiere episode titled "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here" and "Battlestar Galactica" star Tahmoh Penikett portrays the role.

In Season 9, Sam Winchester appears to be in terrible condition even though the third trial in the Season 8 finale has been put to a stop. The "Supernatural" promo video trailer shows Sam lying on a hospital bed with Death alarmingly saying "Hello Sam, I've been waiting for you."

However, spoiler details revealed Sam Winchester's unbelievable recovery may have something to do with Ezekiel's involvement. According to the Spoiler TV report, actor Tahmoh Penikett will not only appear in the premiere episode but also his name will be mentioned in Episode 6 "Dog Dean Afternoon" and the fallen angel will possess Sam Winchester in order to heal him after his throat got slashed in the canine-themed episode.

E!Online additionally reports that a character expected to arrive in "Supernatural" Season 9 is a single mother named Nora. She will make her first appearance in Episode 7 titled "Heaven Can Wait."

As for actor Misha Collin's character Castiel, previous reports claimed that the angel-turned-human is a no-show at the TV series' season premiere, but TV Line now reports that Castiel will be appearing in Season 9 Episode 1 and he will be missing from Episode 2 titled "Devil May Care."

A couple of "Supernatural" characters will be recurring as well in the upcoming brand new season like Bobby Singer, Charlie Bradbury and Abaddon, who appears to be ready in claiming demon Crowley's throne and making fallen angles bow down to her.

Executive producers Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer have shared some details on the CW TV drama series' ninth year, particularly with the expanded role that angels would portray in the show and the secret that Dean keeps from Sam that will cause a conflict between the brothers when revealed.

"Supernatural" Season 9 premieres on October 8 at the CW television network.
