Surface Pro 4 Release Date Pegged For This Month, Advanced Specs Expected
When the Surface Pro 3 was released, it surprised the audience as it came with a large display screen for a portable device. It came with powerful processor and enhanced battery life. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is expected to come out and replace the Surface Pro 3 soon.
A lot is being reported on the purported specs of the Surface Pro 4 on various tech sites. Win Beta states that since several new high-end portable keyboards like the Dell XPS 13 have released in the past, the Surface Pro 4 that is expected to come onboard with Windows 10 is heavily speculated to come with advanced specs.
Recently, a Chinese website 36kr.com had reported that the Surface Pro 4 will be loaded with 5th generation of Intel Broadwell CPU, reports Latino Post. It will be sporting a fanless design and it order to radiate heat, the chassis of the device will come with tiny holes.
Slash Gear has published the expected features of the Surface Pro 4. It states that it will be featuring a 12-inch display screen with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. It will also support couple of accessories such as the Type Cover 3 that is available for the Surface Pro 3 and the third generation docking station.
Since the Type Cover 3 of Surface Pro 3 fits the Surface Pro 4, the successor model is expected to feature the same dimensions like the predecessor model. The Surface Pro 4 will also come with Surface Pen stylus. The new tablet was expected to get showcased at the recently held Microsoft BUILD 2015 conference but it did not come true.
Slash Gear is of the view that Microsoft may unveil the Surface Pro 4 within this month. On the other side, the International business Times report that cites the post from The Verge states that the Lisa T. Su who is the CEO with AMD has revealed that the Windows 10 would release by July. Since the Surface Pro 4 is expected to be the first device to feature the Windows 10 OS, the tablet is expected to release in July.
