Taylor Swift Dismisses Fight Rumours Between Her And Lorde Via Twitter

Fans were devastated to hear that Taylor Swift had a fight with her best friend and fellow singer, Lorde. Rumours began to spread due to alleged collaboration disagreements between the pair. Thankfully, Taylor Swift quickly dismissed the rumours with Lorde as her back-up.

Rumours about a fight between TSwift and Lorde began when a report claimed that Lorde turned down Taylor’s invitation to record music together. “Lorde loves Taylor but she thinks that their voices have completely different sounds and they won’t mesh well together,” a source says. “Taylor was pretty disappointed with her reaction.” The rejection supposedly hurt Taylor Swift which sparked the fight rumours.

As the singers heard of the feud rumours, they decided to clear it up. On April 6, Taylor Swift tweeted: “Media, when you say "Lorde & Taylor are fighting" -- by fighting do you mean "FaceTiming constantly from U.S. to New Zealand and LOLing at you"? Thnx bye.” The message was retweeted by Lorde and added, “sisters are doin’ it for themselves.”

In fact, the music collaboration is actually still possible for Lorde and Taylor Swift. In an interview with Capital FM Radio, Lorde said, “Yeah we are [different] but I think the cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music,” she explained. “I think that last record [Red] in particular; everyone was like ‘Woah.’ And I think with an artist like her, the sky is the limit.”

The unlikely alliance between Taylor Swift and the New Zealand native Lorde has left fans in awe as the two started looking out for each other such as when Lorde defended Taylor Swift after Diplo mocked the singer via Twitter. Despite being 7 years older, “Blank Space” singer Taylor Swift has shown her support throughout various events and milestones in “Royals” singer Lorde’s life such as when Lorde became the first ever female artist to receive the Best Rock Video at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Of course, fans would be shattered if the friendship breaks.
