Teclast X98 Air III and X98 Pro tablets with marvelous specs are on Gear Best
Teclast is a Chinese brand based in Guangzhou that mainly manufactures feature-rich and affordable tablets. The Teclast X98 Air III and the X98 Pro Tablet not only come with impressive specs but also carry low price tags on Gear Best.
The Teclast X98 Air III features a 9.7-inch IPS Retina display that supports a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It features an Intel Z3735F chipset under its hood that houses a 64-bit quad-core CPU delivering a processing speed of 1.83 GHz. The SoC also includes Intel HD graphics.
The chipset is supported by 2 GB of RAM and its internal storage is 32 GB. It supports a 128 GB microSD card on the external storage slot. It comes preloaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The rear panel of the Teclast X98 Air III has a 5 MP camera and the front-facing camera is a 2 MP. For connectivity, it’s equipped with features like Wi-Fi, OTG, v4.0 Bluetooth and HDMI output. It packs a huge 8,000 mAh battery.
Since its appearance is very similar to the Apple tablets, Geek Snack has reported that the Teclast X98 Air III is a Chinese edition of the iPad Air 2 tablet. The X98 is available on pre-sale with Gear Best for $138 (AU$188). The preorder period will expire Oct. 20.
Another variant of the Teclast X98 Air III is also available. This runs on two operating systems, Windows 10 and Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
It comes with a larger internal storage capacity of 64 GB. The rest of the specs of this variant is same as the Android-only variant of the tablet. The price of this model on Gear Best is $167 (AU$228).
The Teclast X98 Pro tablet PC comes with better specs than these models. It’s powered by 2.2 GHz quad-core processor on the Intel X5 - Z8500 chipset. It also features Grafis Intel HD graphics, 4 GB of RAM and internal storage of 64 GB.
It also supports dual boot for Windows 10 and Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. Other specs of the X98 Pro are the same as the X98 Air III models. It’s listed with a price tag of $231 (AU$315) on Gear Best.
