Tracy Morgan is back on his feet and spending quality time with his family a year after the devastating accident on the New Jersey Turnpike. He was recently seen sporting a big smile as he enjoyed Disney World with his wife and daughter, who was celebrating her second birthday.

A year after his almost fatal crash involving a Walmart big rig at the New Jersey Turnpike, Morgan is now smiling and enjoying life again, Page Six reports. To celebrate his daughter Maven's birthday, he took her and his fiancée Megan Wollover to Disney World. In a photo of them at the Florida theme park, Morgan can be seen with his partner and kid on a Dumbo ride, looking happy. Megan and Maven were wearing matching Minnie Mouse headbands.

Before this, Morgan was also spotted in New York on a stroll with his family. Several eyewitnesses claimed that the “Saturday Night Live” star looked in good spirits and grateful that he was alive. He was friendly to all the fans who approached him.

Back in June, the comedian said to Matt Lauer on NBC’s “Today” show that he would always love comedy and was raring to go back and do it again. However, as of now, his main priority is to heal and recover from the horrific crash that killed his friend and fellow comic James McNair, popularly known as “Jimmy Mack.”

In the same interview, Morgan revealed that Walmart did not shun its responsibility. The Arkansas-based superstore chain has reached a $10 million deal with the McNair family after the family filed a wrongful-death complaint.

Morgan also shared how thankful he was for the care he received from Dr. Brian Greenwald, the top head injury physician at JFK Medical Center, as well as “Nurse Jackie.” He said he was a difficult patient at the start, even throwing things at the nurse and cursing her. The nurse never retaliated and even reassured him that everything will be all right, according to him.
