After the release of the "Plants vs. Zombies 2" update, which introduced new levels and characters, the next "PvZ" game in line is "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare," which is an exclusive Xbox game.

And this time, a new trailer has been released, showing off the Gardens & Graveyards Mode. Major Nelson featured the video in his blog and also had an exclusive with producer Brian Lindley on what to expect from the new game.

What players will be getting with this game is sort of like a mash up with "Battlefield" and a change in treatment for the tower defense game. An individual gamer can have a total of 24 players for every session, and as zombies, they can only have so much time to turn the garden into a graveyard.

"Players experienced with shooters will find many familiar character types, weapons and abilities, but we've tried to create unique twists and combinations of these abilities to fit the more lighthearted and humorous tone of the PvZ universe," said Lindley in the interview.

And this will be really more than just a zombie invasion game, as a player's zombies are more than just the average brain-craving type. They are now armed to the teeth with what Lindley calls Zomboss technology, which include football cannons, jackhammers, teleporters, dolphin guns and more.

There's a lot going on for "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare" and it's coming to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on Feb 18, 2014.

'The Walking Dead 2': No Mercy for the Young

After a lot of teasers and speculations, "The Walking Dead" season 2 episode 1 is finally out and available for download.

Most gamers are walking into "The Walking Dead" season 2 knowing only that they will be playing as Clementine and that all the decisions that they've had to make from the first season and the 400 Days DLC will be either a burden or a good path for them.

*GameStick has landed a pretty big partner. Does this mean more and better games in the future?

Aside from this, the mechanics of the game will now be a little different as players shift from Lee to Clementine in terms of perspective and abilities, reports IGN. Instead of being strong and fit, a player is now more fragile, nimble and innocent.

Cinema Blend reports that the four succeeding episode of "The Walking Dead" season 2 have been scheduled for a 2014 release and will debut a month or so apart from each other. "The Walking Dead" season 2 episode 1 is available for $5 for each episode piecemeal, while Mac and PC gamers can get the entire season for $25.

'Dying Light': Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid

Zombie games are supposed to bring out the fear and anxiety in the dark---and while others approach this concept in varying ways, it still remains a core concept in serious zombie games.

"Dying Light's" newest 10-minute trailer takes viewers back to the time when this fear is at its peak, where players have to make use of what they can with whatever's left of the sun and try to fade away into the night to avoid a run-in with the undead. Players feel this even more because of the day/night cycle, which transitions very naturally and seamlessly.

Then there's the incorporation of parkour and trap-setting for zombies, and you know that you're not just looking for another trigger-happy, hack 'n' slash zombie game.

It helps that Dying Light is one of the zombie games that will be making its way to the next-gen, as the power of the devices can bring out better graphics so you never miss a beat in the game.

"PS4 is a truly fantastic piece of hardware!... Obviously, with greater control comes greater responsibility, for example for correct synchronization between processing units," said Tomasz Szalkowski, senior engine programmer for developer Techland, in an interview quoted by VR-Zone.
