The Voice Australia judge, Delta Goodrem, may have been criticized by many for having hooked up in the past with youngster Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, but the 27-year-old singer admits in a recent interview that it was 'genuine love.'

It became a more interesting revelation when she talked of why she chose to have a rebound relationship with a teen heartthrob after having gone through a seven-year-old relationship. Delta Goodrem shared with Karl Stefanovic in an interview for '60 Minutes' that she is the kind who is highly interested with dealing with challenges.

But Goodrem admits though that she learned a lesson along the way and she could tell it was definite love. Their relationship ended in February after having spent ten months dating together.

In her Vogue interview, Goodrem said that she only has good things to say about Jonas but it was a different thing for her ex and Irish pop singer, Brian McFadden. She shared without hesitation that it was very tumultuous she just regretted not having ended it earlier than she could have done.

Goodrem said that she just felt excited with the freedom she had for herself after getting things done with McFadden that she was not thinking at all when she rushed into a brand new relationship. Simply put, she wanted to try a relationship that was extremely different from what she experienced from McFadden.

She also admitted that she hurts the most when her level of sincerity is being questioned by her detractors in the business.
