Walmart is offering the iPad Mini 2 with 16 GB Wi-Fi AT&T version for just $265. The iPad Mini 2 that sports 16 GB of storage with Wi-Fi is available at $429. With this promotional sale, customers can save $164 on the iPad Mini 2, according to reports.

The iPad Mini 2 is packed with a lot of power and has been popular since its release for its smooth performance and reliability, reports Tech Times. The iPad Mini 2 measures 7.87 by 5.3 by 0.29 inches (HWD) and weighs 11.68 ounces. It has the 4:3 aspect ratio, making it compatible with iPad apps. The Mini 2 also sports a 7.9-inch, 2,048-by-1,536-pixel IPS LCD touch screen and offers the same resolution as the iPad Air. The display also comes with a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. Besides that, it also features a 5 MP rear camera and 1.2 MP camera at the front. It is also available in a dual-band, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi version and a universal cellular version that works with all carriers in the US, according to a review done by PC Mag.

Under the hood, the iPad Mini 2 gets an Apple A7 processor that comes paired with an M7 coprocessor, which assures fast performance, as per Tech Times report. In terms of hardware performance, the iPad Mini 2 is just as good as the iPad Mini 3. As per the publication, iPad Mini 2’s successor retained the same display, processor, cameras and few other features. The areas, where iPad Mini 3 was different from Mini 2 included a new Gold color options, a Touch ID fingerprint reader and the Apple Pay service.

The iPad Mini 2 will become even more popular among tablet users with the new discount offer from Walmart. The retail giant also said that it will offer attractive deals on other days too, reported Tech Times.
