Washington Redskins TE Niles Paul out for season

The Washington Redskins have has lost tight end Niles Paul for the entire 2015 season with a fractured ankle and head coach Jay Gruden said that Paul’s loss is a big one for the team’s campaign in the upcoming season.
"A huge loss for us," Gruden said via NFL.com. "He's a great player and a great leader." Paul also took to Twitter to show his frustration with the season-ending ankle injury.

The 26-year-old Paul, who was pegged to be the Redskins’ starting TE in the upcoming season, was carted off the field in the first quarter of the Redskins preseason game versus the Cleveland Browns last Thursday.
In four years with the Redskins, Paul has recorded 735 receiving yards on 53 catches with two touchdowns in 60 regular season games. The tight end’s best year came last season when he had 507 receiving yards on 39 receptions with a touchdown.
