From being a simple actress for independent films, Jennifer Lawrence became an overnight success and the next most in demand leading lady after 'The Hunger Games' was shown on the big screen.

With her current repertoire of films all lined up to be shown this fall, it seems that there is another addition to keep her schedule busy. According to Deadline Hollywood, the president of Lionsgate production, Erik Feig, has already claimed the rights to the bestseller book entitled 'The Glass Castle: A Memoir.'

It follows the life story of famous gossip columnist Jeanette Walls beginning with her nomadic childhood days with her parents and siblings. Her father nurtured their imagination each time he was sober while her mum writes and paints. As they headed to West Virginia, they ended up supporting each other to live with their parents before heading on to their own irresponsible ways.

Despite all these, she painted her parents in a light that seemed perfect. She made them appear without remembering their flaws and was grateful for all their contribution in her current success. With its 2005 release, the book has spent 250 weeks on the coveted New York Times Best Sellers list.

With just a preview of the plot, many are saying that Jennifer Lawrence is the perfect heroine for the role. This is a good start for Lionsgate departing from their usual male-led narratives like 'Abduction' and 'The Lincoln Lawyer.'
