Xbox One/Xbox 720’s Project Spark Beta Registration Begins, NBA Live a Next-Gen Exclusive & Gran Turismo 6 Plans for PS4?
Sony has finally announced the release of the Anniversary Edition for the Gran Turismo 6, and there's a lot in store especially for those who are thinking of preordering the game.
One of the rewards, reports CVG, is a Steelbook case version of the PS3 racer, with digital extras, and in-game prizes. Preorders will also come with the 15th Anniversary vehicles, in addition to the 1,200 cars that are already included in the game.
Some of the cars that you'll get as a preorder bonus include the SRT Viper GTS, Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3, and the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale.
For the anniversary version, you can get the game, the Steelbook, 1M in-game credits, updated Apex II, custom paint chips, race suits, and avatars, and 20 cars with performance enhancement.
The Gran Turismo 6 is set for release this November as a PS3 exclusive, but a PS4 version is also under consideration.
Project Spark now open for beta registration
The Xbox One exclusive (for consoles) game Project Spark has now entered its beta phase, with registrations now underway for those who want to become part of the first wave to experience the game.
Spark, which is a game that lets you create a wide array of games, as Joystiq reports that it has a similar way of functioning as LittleBigPlanet 2. Apart from the game creation, Project Spark also has many features, a notable one being the decision tree-type system. You can create your own questions to start and build your own missions, which can then be shared to other players.
The builder game is also slated for a Windows 8 release. It was first announced at Microsoft's E3 conference, and reported to feature the SmartGlass and Kinect functions when it's released.
NBA Live 14 to be exclusively next-gen
Those who have been waiting for the NBA Live 14 would have to get themselves either a PS4 or an Xbox One, as it won't be coming to the current-gen PS3 and Xbox 360.
According to Digital Trends, EA Sports executive producer Sean O'Brien has already revealed that the next NBA video game is slated for the next generation, with changes and developments in the product that suit the movement from current to next-gen.
"There is an enormous financial commitment to the development of the product on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, including the size of the team and resource required to give us every opportunity to make a great basketball game that can compete with such a solid franchise like NBA 2k," said O'Brien to Digital Trends.
Aside from a bigger team, there are also plans for bounceTek for the physics aspect of the game and Synergy Sports Technologies for scouting.
