Amidst rumours about Mi 5, Xiaomi’s two new unannounced smartphones have been spotted on China’s TENNA. The website has listed the smartphones by their codenames Mi 2015811 and Mi 2015812. It is suspected that these smartphones could be two variants of Redmi 3.

BGR states that the listing features the specifications of Xiaomi Mi 2015811 and Xiaomi 2015812. The Xiaomi Mi 2015811 sports a 5-inch HD display with the resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processors coupled with a 2GB RAM and runs on Android lollipop. It also has an internal storage of 16GB and supports external storage feature via microSD card.

The device bears a 13MP or 8MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera. Xiaomi Mi 2015811 comes with connectivity options such as 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi 2015812 sports a 5.5-inch display with 16MP or 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and features a fingerprint scanner.

The listing says that Xiaomi Mi 2015812 will be powered by 1.8GHz Snapdragon 808 hexacore chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM, along with 16GB internal storage. The smartphone comes with external storage options and therefore can be expanded via a microSD card.

Nevertheless, the smartphone is incorporated with connectivity options such as 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Recently, a number of smartphone OEMs are planning to roll out Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates and Xiaomi has also joined the bandwagon. The Chinese company has divulged that the smartphones like Mi 4, Mi Note and Mi 3 will receive Android 6.0 updates soon.

The MIUI operations manager from Xiaomi has posted on Weibo that the Android 6.0 upgrade is in its final testing stages and will be rolled out soon for the users of Xiaomi Mi 4, Xiaomi Mi Note and Xiaomi Mi 3, according to Gizmo China. The leaked screenshot of the update that has surfaced shows that the size of the update is 518 MB.
